Connecting communities to food with dignity

Food is a basic human right. Yet food insecurity can affect anyone, from school children to seniors, working adults to military families.

At Berkeley Food Network, we work side-by-side with our local community to ensure reliable access to nourishing food today and for the future. As Berkeley’s food bank, we connect thousands of neighbors each month through our pantry, community pantries and home delivery programs, offering food with dignity, choice and respect.

While our work is rooted locally, the need for food justice is universal. Strong communities are built when people show up for one another.

Wherever you live, you can be part of the solution. Volunteer in your community, support organizations advancing food justice, advocate for equitable food systems or partner with groups creating lasting change.

Together, local action creates collective impact. Food insecurity is solvable. Join us in building a future where everyone can thrive.
